Service information

Service Terms

These general terms outline how delivery enquiries, quotations and accepted service arrangements are handled.

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Quotations and service acceptance

Website content and initial discussions do not constitute acceptance of a delivery request. Services are provided only after NHM Logistics confirms availability, suitability, scope and charges, and the customer accepts the quotation or service arrangement.

Accurate delivery information

Customers must provide complete and accurate information about pickup and delivery locations, contacts, access restrictions, stops, timing, goods, quantities, dimensions, weight, packaging and handling needs. NHM Logistics may revise or decline an arrangement if the actual requirement differs materially from the information provided.

Goods and packaging

Customers are responsible for declaring goods accurately and ensuring suitable packaging unless otherwise agreed. Illegal, prohibited, hazardous, unsafe, inadequately packaged or undisclosed restricted goods will not be accepted. NHM Logistics may refuse goods that appear unsafe, unsuitable or beyond agreed capacity.

Pickup, delivery, waiting and handling

Customers must ensure reasonable access and that authorised persons are available at the agreed locations. Waiting time, parking, access, loading, unloading, additional manpower, equipment or unsuccessful attendance may affect the service and charges. Responsibilities for loading and unloading should be agreed in advance.

Availability and timing

All services, including same-day and dedicated arrangements, are subject to operational availability, route, access, vehicle suitability and other delivery requirements. Any timing provided is an estimate unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.

Charges and changes

Charges are subject to quotation. Route, schedule, stops, goods, access or handling changes may require a revised quotation or additional charges. Applicable taxes and third-party costs may be included or identified as stated in the quotation.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellation or rescheduling terms may be stated in the quotation. Charges may apply where vehicles or resources have already been arranged, work has started, or notice is insufficient to avoid committed costs.

Vehicles and service partners

Commercial vehicles may be leased, rented or arranged through third parties according to operational requirements. NHM Logistics does not represent that it owns the vehicles used for every service. Suitable service partners may receive information required to perform an accepted delivery.

Liability

Any liability will be assessed according to the accepted quotation, the circumstances and applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, NHM Logistics is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss. Customers should disclose high-value or sensitive goods before service acceptance and maintain appropriate insurance where required.
